Position Details
Job Title: Senior Design Engineer
Experience Required: 4 to 8 Years
Job Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. – Mechanical)

What We Are Looking For in an Ideal Candidate
1. Experience in Automotive Engineering and Design
- A solid background in automotive product development is a must.
- Candidates should have experience in working on various stages of vehicle design and development, from concept to production.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards, materials, and manufacturing processes will be highly valued.
2. Expertise in Interior Trims
- Candidates should have strong domain knowledge in designing automotive interior trims, specifically:
- Cockpit systems
- Door trims
- Instrument panel
- Understanding of different materials used in interior trim components, including plastics, composites, and soft-touch materials.
- Familiarity with the challenges of designing interior components, including fit, finish, ergonomics, and safety standards.
3. Proficiency in UG-NX / CATIA V5 or V6
- UG-NX and CATIA V5/V6 are widely used design tools in the automotive industry.
- Candidates should be comfortable using these software tools for 3D modeling, drafting, assembly design, and surface design.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is an added advantage.
