As a member of our Assembly Chassis team, you will collaborate with experienced professionals to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of vehicle assembly.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assembly Chassis Production professional, your primary responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and executing assembly processes related to chassis production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety.
Working with advanced manufacturing technologies, including PLC programming, automation systems, and robotics.
Collaborating with engineers, production supervisors, and quality assurance teams to enhance production performance.
Conducting offline simulations and utilizing 3D-CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia, Siemens NX) to design and analyze assembly processes.
Troubleshooting issues related to pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and computer-controlled systems used in chassis assembly.
Maintaining and improving process devices, such as motor drives, sensors, AC/DC converters, encoders, lifts, and conveyors.
Ensuring compliance with manufacturing methods, procedures, and industry best practices.
Continuously evaluating and optimizing production workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Adhering to all company safety policies and contributing to a culture of workplace safety.
Supporting training initiatives for production team members and sharing technical expertise.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Educational Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
Industrial Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Or a related discipline
Experience and Skills
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an assembly manufacturing environment, specifically in Trim or Chassis production.
Hands-on experience in PLC programming using platforms such as Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal.
Experience with offline simulations and 3D-CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia, Siemens NX).
Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and computer-controlled systems in an industrial setting.
Expertise in working with process devices, including motor drives, sensors, AC/DC converters, encoders, lifts, and conveyors.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and process technology related to chassis assembly.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry standards.
Alternative Qualification
Candidates who do not possess a bachelor’s degree may still be eligible for the position if they have at least 6 years of relevant experience in assembly manufacturing. This alternative qualification allows experienced professionals to bring their expertise to MBV without requiring a formal degree.
