Job Purpose

As a Quality Analysis Engineer at Honda, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of White Body & Sellable Units within our production processes. This role is crucial in maintaining Honda’s reputation for reliability and excellence. You will work closely with various teams, including production, quality assurance, and engineering, to ensure that all components meet Honda’s strict quality standards.

Your primary responsibilities will involve analyzing weld components, verifying equipment functionality, and conducting in-depth investigations to identify and resolve quality issues. This role requires a hands-on approach to engineering, where you will engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts to enhance our manufacturing operations.

Key Accountabilities

As a Weld Quality Engineer, you will take on various responsibilities that directly contribute to Honda’s mission of delivering high-quality products. Your primary duties will include:

Evaluating Part and Weld Component Accuracy: Ensuring that all welded components and assembled parts meet precise specifications.

Supporting Equipment Verification and Part Fit Confirmation: Working closely with production teams to verify that all equipment functions correctly and that parts fit together as intended.

Conducting Problem Investigations: Utilizing advanced measurement tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and portable CMMs to identify and diagnose quality issues.

Implementing Countermeasures and Tracking Problems: Developing solutions to quality issues and ensuring that corrective actions are effectively implemented and monitored.

Responding to White Body Accuracy Issues: Addressing any discrepancies in White Body accuracy and ensuring that all units meet Honda’s stringent standards.

Supporting New Model Body Quality Maturation: Assisting with the quality assurance processes for new models, ensuring that new vehicle bodies meet Honda’s expectations before entering full production.


This role requires a detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will need to think critically, analyze data, and collaborate with teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement.




Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or MET (Manufacturing Engineering Technology) is required.


Experience:

0-1 year of experience in an engineering or quality-related role. While prior experience is beneficial, recent graduates with relevant skills and a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.


Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Basic fabrication skills to understand and analyze welding and assembly processes.
